Good evening, beautiful people. We did it! Thanks to ya’ll, I hit over 100 subscribers to my humble newsletter and I hope to see it grow even more. I promised I would share a Locked Tomb piece I’ve never posted publicly and I’m a person of my word:
I discovered your work on Mastodon, found you on Twitter and now I'm fascinated to see that more artists than I thought were on Substack! Eager to see how this develops since I've always thought newsletters were a great way to show off new work and projects while I've also heard the valid criticism that it's very one-way without the ability to comment.
As for the Locked Tomb (love your piece!), I haven't read Nona yet, though it's on my list! I enjoyed the first two books more than I thought I would (more of a fantasy gal myself), but the Gideon cover was so irresistable that I had to pick it up.
I love this piece, there's just so much feeling in it despite me not knowing anything about the characters.
Also, I wish I could join you on the God of War streams but I want to play them myself and I'm woefully behind on the series (still stuck like a third of the way into GoW3). >.>
I hope you'll enjoy the new game!
I'm loving the newsletter format and I look forward to reading more, it feels good to have some "slow" media to look forward to, where people can actually write some deeper stuff. <3
Lovely piece!! And damn I love this shade of pink. A lot of people have recommended me tlt, I'm trying to get my butt to read it - maybe afterwards I'll be able to appreciate this artwork even more >:)
I've discovered the locked tomb serie quite recently and I absolutely love it.
In fact, I hyper-focused so hard on Harrow that I fear reading Nona for the moment, as I don't have the luxury to only think about it ^^
But I freaking love it, and your art is absolutely beautiful
