This feels so old school and fun and alien all at once. All this space for me just to write? *cracks knuckles* Since most of social media seems to be eating its own tail these days, I felt ready to abandon ship. Twitter was the only place I ever thrived and kept active and it’s quite painful seeing it slowly die out. It’s where I made so many friends and connections and for that I’m forever grateful. But there’s no joy in sharing when the posts just get quietly drowned in the void. So let’s try this! My hope is to post a little every month, perhaps I could do Thirstdays every Thursday? Weekly stream schedules? Do you have any suggestions? Please let me know <3
I'm sorta ready for the internet to have this vibe again? i feel like when we were growing up that sort of niche wild west energy was everywhere and it made posting feel a little more... fun and low pressure? Like i kinda miss having a blog 🤔
I'm considering using Tumblr again myself (i don't have any nsfw stuff anymore really), but a lot of other creators i know are using substack too so maybe I'll join you!
I'm looking forward to this! newsletters can be so fun, and I'm happy to have at least some lf my favourite creators on a feed that doesn't feel immediately urgent. a slowest and more asynchronous medium can be very soothing
I'm a little scared of a place I can write a reply without limits, I'm a creative writer person. However hearing an artists thoughts, day to day, or otherwise, can be an enriching experience, so I'm all in!
Go nuts with this. We'll love your brain drippings.
It sure feels like we're all having livejournals again all of a sudden, hahaha. I am a little excited!

Excited for this! Such a nice way to write and read a little more, feels less restrictive than twitter or insta I think

Wow, this reminds me a lot of Livejournal; even though I only ever read like one blog there. Really nice.
